TWO years old!

I started this post over a week ago and have been adding stuff to it. I think it is time to just post it! Deegan turned 2 on the 13th! Pics to come from him party but the internet is being really slow so here is the run down on Deegan at 2 years old!

* He can count to 10!
* Has an obsession with washing his hands.
* Says his Aunt Chelsie's name like "sassy"
* Still remembers Kai and points out her pic on the fridge and even asks, Where's Kai?
* Says "Awesome"
Phrases: Where'd go?, What'd do?, Oooh No, All better, Wanna go bye bye,
*Everytime I go in his room in the morning or if I come back from being gone, he says"Hi Mommy!" in the cutest voice ever!
* Still loves The Price is Right and asks for it multiple times a day.
*He has become a HUGE mama's boy since I quit working. I guess that is to be expected.
*Is definitely a 2 year old! He throws fits, probably not full on tantrums yet, throws things, hits, yada yada. Only when he is tired.
*Still taking 2 naps a day and he needs them!
*Calls me mama-me and his grandmas mama -ma a lot of the time.
*Knows that baby Griffin is in my belly.
*Getting more and more independent and likes to try most things without help first.
*Still loves Elmo and Dora.
*Loves his cousin Tay. Just not when grandma holds him. :)
* He has started asking "You cry?" or "You sad?". Its pretty cute. He also asks it when he sees someone sad on TV or a baby crying in the store.
*Along with bye bye, he will say see ya later. He has also started taking any of his toys that have a handle on them and carrying them like a briefcase or lunch box, says see ya later and walks away from you for a while. I love it and have no idea where he got it from!
*He has started trying to climb out of his crib. I am not ready for him to be in a big boy bed so we just watch him until he lays down. I even lowered his mattress all the way to the floor and the little monkey can still get his legs over the top!
*He loves piggy back rides!
*Fav foods: hot dogs, mac and cheese, pickles, yogurt (he even likes the greek kind), pasta of any kind really, pb & j, gold fish, fruit snacks, fruit cups, suckers, popsicles, etc.
*Size 4 diapers, size 4-5 shoe, 12-18 month pants or 18-24 if I roll the waistband :), 18-24month tops.
*He got a strider bike for his birthday and thinks its pretty neat. We are still working on getting him used to it but he will be flying around on it soon! They are pretty cool bikes if you don't know what they are. Check them out :)
*Will FINALLY say I love you. It is more like La Loo but still, better then nothing. I have no idea why it took him so long and even now, he doesn't give his I love you's away easily.
* We just turned his carseat to forward facing. He seems to like it. He was perfectly content rear facing but Eric really wanted to turn him around :)
* He thinks its funny when he farts and will laugh and say "Suse You". We think its pretty funny.
*He really enjoys coloring. Whether with crayons in a coloring book or just a pen or pencil on plain paper. He loves it!

I think that is a pretty good summary! Even though he is two now, I plan to still do monthly updates on him so that I can keep up on all the new things he does! He is a blast to have around and I have loved the last month of being home with him!

Trick or Treat!

We didn't do any major trick or treating since we still had to drive all the way back to Casper. But we made the important stops!

I am sure you can guess what Deegan dressed up as! Elmo!

We took all of these pics a few days before Halloween for Deegan's birthday invites. It took quite a bit of effort from both me and Eric to get them. ha ha.

Our first stop on Halloween was Great Grandma Sanders' house!

He looked so cute dressed up and holding his bucket!

Mommy and elmo!

Daddy, Elmo and Grandma. She had something better then candy for us. Homemade pumpkin cookies! Yum!

Then it was onto Grandma Suzy's (Deegan recently started saying Suzy and it is pretty stinkin cute!)

She was a witch. Deegan wouldn't let her put her hat on. ha ha. Guess he didn't like it.

She had all sorts of treats for Deegan. And these fingers were extra tasty!!

Not cooperating for a pic......

Next, Great Grandma and Grandpa Wolfley's!
She always has some extra special treats!

Fruit snacks! Elmo's favorite. And he even got TWO big packs of them!

Thanks Grandma!

Loves for Grandpa too!

Our last stop was, of course, Grandma Holly's! I was lame and didn't get any pics. But Elmo had also had enough of being Elmo so we got our regular Deegan back! But Grandma Holly had treats for us too! Her yummy nacho sauce with all the good toppings, apple cider and sugar cookies!

Cousin Tayson the dragon was there too. I am so sad we didn't get any pics of them together. Oh well! Then it was time for us to head back to our 2nd home in Casper. :) We left at 7 pm and I drove the whole way. Not sure how I did it but I figured Eric needed to sleep since he had to work the next day.

Deegan slept pretty much the whole 6 hours so I was worried about what he would do once we made it. Well, my worst fears became reality. He was up until 4:45!!! And then he woke up at 7:30. Oh my. I was a waste that day!

We were glad that we made it home for Halloween. It was a quick trip but we are glad we made it!

More Fun in a Fifth Wheel

Deegan has found many ways to entertain himself while we are staying in out fifth wheel. Some of them drive his mom crazy but at least it keeps him happy!

There are all sorts of cupboards for storage and Deegan discovered a new one the other night.

I was surprised that he wasn't scared at all to crawl all the way inside! Eric even started shutting the door for a second to play peek a boo and Deegan loved it!

Silly kid!

This would be one that drives his mom crazy. He can open the oven door and climb up on it VERY easily. He got the pans and stuff out and put them up there too.Who needs a play kitchen when you can have this?

What's for dinner?

I just thought these pics were funny. This is how he was watching a movie the other day. I guess he thought it was comfy!

Just catching up on some reading!

So there you have it. There is lots to do to entertain a 2 year old! The whole trailer is pretty much his jungle gym. We really have been enjoying being here together as a family! It might not have all of the same comforts and conveniences of home but when we are here, we are all together and that is much more important!

Pumpkin Walk

I didn't think we were going to make it to the Pumpkin Walk this year but Eric wanted to come home from Casper to hunt a little so we were able to go. My mom went with us and I forgot to get the stroller so Deegan was a free man. Pretty sure Pumpkin RUN was more fitting for Deegan! We made it through in record time but I am still glad we went!

Deegan was more interested in the pumpkins that lined the walkway then the actual displays.....

Most of the pics I got were of his back because he wouldn't hold still! And yes, he is "trespassing" on the display. ha ha

He really like any that had music playing. And especially the Gilligans Island one. Can you sort of tell he is dancing in this pic?

And how cute is his hat?! I think he looks so stinkin cute in it and I was so happy that he kept it on!

He wasn't a huge fan of the face cutouts but he did poke his head out of a few and said "peek a boo!" I think this one is pretty cute with his hands peeking out too.

And here he is telling you how old he is! No, he is not flashing gang signs. ha ha. I have been teaching him to hold up his pointer finger on each hand but for now he just says "two!" and holds up a few extra fingers. :)

24 Weeks

I figured since I am more than half way through this pregnancy, I should probably take a picture. So here it is!

This pic was taken at 23 weeks and 2 days I believe. It was at the very end of the day so cut me some slack. ha ha.

Yesterday marked 24 weeks. I can't believe it! It is going so fast. Deegan's went quickly as well but this one is flying by. Here are a few things I want to remember so far:

**We found out I was pregnant on Father's Day. How perfect!

**I got the headaches like I did with Deegan but they were no where near as bad. They were not as constant and instead of lasting for 5 months straight, they were more sparatic. I think they were pretty well gone by the time we found out the sex of the baby.

**I first started feeling this baby move at 14 weeks! I couldn't believe it. Deegan was 18 weeks. This little guy is super active in the evenings and when I get into bed. I love it.

**Eric felt the baby move for the first time on October 25th. So about 22-23 weeks?

**We decided on the name Griffin James. Griffin is just a unique name we like and James is after my grandpa Tribett. Funny story.....I had decided that Griffin James was my choice it we had a boy. There is a blog I read and the girl was having a boy but wasn't announcing his name until after he was born. A few days after I made my decision, she had her baby and posted his name on her blog. I about died (okay slight exaggeration) when she announced her little guy would be "Griffin James". What are the chances?! Good thing we don't know eachother in real life!

**Deegan knows there is a baby in mommy's belly but I think that is as far as his understanding goes. We will keep working on it and make sure that he feels extra special once Griffin is born.

**Just like with Deegan, so far this pregnancy has gone really well and I have felt great! I told myself I would exercise more this time but, alas, that has not happened so far.

**I really didn't start showing until 22-23 weeks and even then, sometimes I would look more pregnant than others. ha ha.

**I have not had the swelling like I did with Deegan. Maybe its because I am pregnant 2 months later so I didn't really have heat to deal with. I had to stop wearing my wedding ring at about 18 weeks with Deegan and could only wear certain shoes. I am hoping that holds off this time around! My feet got pretty disgusting with Deegan.

Well, I think that about sums it up so far! I am going to try to take a few more pics before the end. Things are going great and we are just praying that Griffin stays cooking longer then his older brother. We don't want another NICU stay!!

A fun evening at the park!

A week or so ago after Eric got off work, we headed to the park. Deegan had a total blast!! I think it is so fun to take pics at the park so there are tons in this post.

The twirly slide was Deegans favorite. He went down this thing like 50 times! And every time, he had his hand up on the edge like this.

I didn't think he would like crawling though this tunnel but he proved me wrong.

I just love how his little arms and legs look in these pics as he flies down the slide.

This was the only one he could climb all the way to the top on. He tried it on every slide. So he liked this one since he could make it all the way up!

And of course we had to try out the swings. This kid loves to swing. Here he is on the big boy one.

But this one was more fun since daddy could push him even higher!

He thought it was pretty fun to go down the bigger slides with daddy.

We had a lot of fun! Deegan was not happy to leave! We will have to try to go again before it stays freezing.
