Riding....
Last Saturday was such a nice day that Michelle and I decided to go watch the boys ride. I thought it would be perfect to get some sun on my colorless arms. Unfortunately, it was not near as warm as it looked and I was glad for my jacket and especially my hood! It was still nice to get some fresh air and watch them.
Kind of hard to get a picture mid air, thats why its a little blurry. These were taken at the sod farms in Paradise. Seems like they have a lot of fun. It makes me a little nervous to watch but we bought him a special neck brace that is supposed to keep him from breaking his neck :) I guess that is comforting......

This is for you, Lea : )
Okay, so my friend Lea tagged me to choose my 5 favorite songs on my playlist. Well I am horrible at making decisions and don't think I can pick 5 so I am just going to pick a few and tell you why I put it on my playlist. Here it goes:
Somewhere Over the Rainbow---I originally heard this version on 50 First Dates and I like the more tropical and laid back sound of it. Then I was reminded of it when Jason sang it on American Idol. : ) So I had to find it and put it on here.....
Finally by Fergie--I am not usually a huge Fergie fan. I heard this song on the radio and Googled it to see who it was and was surprised to find out it was her. I don't care though because I just love it. Maybe one day I can play this song on the piano......
No Air by Jordin Sparks and With You by Chris Brown--These were tied for my favorite song for a while. I just love the sound/beat to them and they are love songs and I am a sucker for love songs.
Take You There by Sean Kingston--Kind of an odd one but it has sentimental value : ) This song came on the radio when Eric and I were driving my little brother to get set apart as an Elder the night before he left on his mission and it was like his favorite song and he was so excited that it was the last song he got to hear :) So it reminds me of him and so I really like it!
All the Carrie Underwood songs---I just love her! I wish I looked like her! Ha ha! No but I have loved her since the beginning of when she was on American Idol and I still do!
Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Byrd--It is Eric's and my song and is on our wedding video. I love it and it makes me so happy every time I hear it!
Fix You by Cold Play--It is just one of my favorites. I love the sound of it. Plus it was on an episode of The OC so that helps it out for sure!
Bubbly by Colbie Cailat and Love Song by Sara Bareilles---They just make you smile! They are happy songs. Plus, Sara Bareilles is one of the very few artists that I knew about before my sister....I am not real up on music.
Most of the rest are kind of old school songs that just remind me of high school and before or else just other random favorites. They are classics that I will always love! : ) I plan to continue to add songs to my playlist as I think of others but for now this is it! I still have like 80 spots to fill so if any one has any suggestions let me know! Have a great day!
Oh yeah, and I tag Chelsie, Ashlee Woolf, and Suzy

Paint is finished!!!
This is one of the spare bedrooms. It has a little vault in it which is kind of fun and adds some more character to it.
This is the living room looking into the kitchen and the door way you can see part of is the laundry room.
Part of my daring plum wall in the living room. I was nervous but actually I quite like how it turned out.
Master bedroom. Eric was so good about letting me choose colors. This matches our new blue/brown bed set perfect!

Pray for Baby Gracie
Hello! So I have new pictures to put on and will try to do that tomorrow but I just wanted to get on and tell everyone about a sweet little baby named Gracie. She is 2 weeks old and was born with a serious heart condition. I came across her family's blog through my cousin's and have been hooked. You can feel the spirit so strongly when reading the blog of this sweet baby's journey. She has made it this far and has overcome some serious obstacles. I know that the family would appreciate all the prayers that they can get. If anyone is interested the blog is http://thegledhillfamily.blogspot.com Although she has come along way, she is not out of the woods yet. I have never met this family but feel some how attached to this baby. It probably sounds weird but I look forward to each update about her. She is no doubt a very special spirit. Keep fighting Gracie!!

I love my mom!!
Okay, so I know Mother's Day is still a ways away but I just wanted to say how great my mom is. We are living with my family until our house is done and she has helped me in so many ways, especially the past couple of weeks when we have been super busy prepping and painting. She has done my laundry and made sure there was dinner warmed up when we got home (even at 11:30 at night!). She will stick treats in my purse after I have gone to bed that I find and am grateful for when I get to work. She doesn't think she has done much to help on the house but she has. She has brought us lunch, drinks, and even pillows (to make sure the paint still matches my beadspread:), and she came and tromped around in the muddy mess to help us pick up all the junk around the house. Before we painted she helped me get all the floors and trim cleaned and vacuumed. We have had a lot of help and I want to thank everyone. Eric's parents have been amazing in helping paint and his dad put in some major hours with the sheet rock! We both have great families and I hope they all know how much we love and appreciate them! Some have help physically on the house and others have shown support by stopping by frequently and giving us company and emotional support :) Mom, you have helped me so much more than you know! We love you all!

Pay a Painter!!!
For those of you building or planning on building a home, here is some advise......pay to have your home painted!!! That is one thing that is for sure worth paying for. Especially if you have a lot of trim work and have multiple colors. Holy cow, we will for be hiring someone next time we build. It is so much work to prep everything and then to paint all the trim work and then the color on your walls. We hope to be done by Wednesday or Thursday and it will be a joyous day! I have not even taken any new pictures for a while because we have been so busy. We have had some good help and I am very grateful for that! (Thanks Marty, Suzy and Jevan!) As soon as we are done painting I will put some new pictures up. They are starting the hardwood the end of the week and the brick should be done today. Finally some progress on the outside of the house! Yeah! We hope everyone is doing well!
