Elder David Tribett

So I know that not many of you know my brother but I just wanted to take a minute to brag......he has been gone for a little over 2 months and he is doing great. He has shared some amazing stories with us and he is having a blast. His companion is a big Tongan guy and he really likes him. They have a lot of fun but still work really hard. He is such an example to me and because of him I am reading my scriptures every night. I am embarrassed to admit this but I have never read the entire Book of Mormon but I have been doing really good at reading at least a chapter every night no matter how tired I am and believe it or not I have been sleeping so much better! I normally have a really hard time falling asleep and then staying asleep. He challenges me to do different things and checks up on them so I have to do it and it has really helped me. I love his letters; they are always pretty hilarious but there is always a very spiritual part as well. I usually cry at least a little bit but I am a baby so that is not a surprise! But for those of you that do know him, he loves letters and is actually really good at writing back. And if you do not know him and want a missionary pen pal, I am sure he would love that too! Ha ha. Vegas Baby!

We went to Vegas a few weeks ago, yes I am a little slow, for the final supercross race of the season. It was a lot of fun. Jevan and Michelle had never been so we tried to show them around. Here are some of our pictures.

We stayed at my Uncle Jed and Aunt Teria's house. This was taken on their stairs. I love staying with them and they always make sure we are taken care of.

I am not sure what Steve finds so funny but I just like this picture....

So pretty! Maybe one day I will go to the REAL Paris :)

My pictures kind of got out of order but this is at the race. For anyone that knows about supercross, this is Ricky Carmichael. He is the shiz of supercross, or so I am told. He has retired from it now but I am pretty sure this was the highlight of Eric's life. He was just walking around and was surrounded by people. We just butted our way through and got this picture and his autograph. I had to hurry and save this picture on my computer because my camera has been deleting random pictures and if anything happened to this, I would be in BIG trouble!

Waiting for the race to start. I mean the MAIN race. Racing started at like noon and the main event started at like 9. Yes it was a long day. It ended at about eleven and we got in the car and headed for home. We got back at about 8 am. What a long day!

Okay, so I know that fire is hot and all, but we were a ways away from this and as soon as it went off you could just feel the heat on your face. It was pretty cool, I mean hot! ha ha

I told you my pictures got out of order....this is another one at the Belagio. If you ever go to vegas and have not been here, it is pretty cool. All o the flowers and the butterfly garden and everything is awesome. Plus it is free!

Better late than never.....

Okay, so I have been tagged a couple times lately (okay so this one was like a month ago!) and decided I better do them! Here is the first one and we will see how ambitious I get whether I do the second one today or later!

Twilight Trailer!! Comes out 12/12/08!!

So here is the trailer to Twilight! Yeah!! Some of you may have already seen this but it is new to me! I am not sure about it but I am sure I will love the movie. It better not let me down! Go Gracie Go!

I posted about this sweet baby a while ago but I don't know if anyone checked out her blog. Anyway, she is doing great and her story is really amazing! She still has a long way to go but she truly is a miracle! You can read all about her on her blog. It is www.thegledhillfamily.blogspot.com(click here!:) You cannot help but feel the spirit SO strongly and become attached to this little baby. I look forward to each update. So if you are bored or just want to feel good check it out. There are some sad pictures on there but it just shows you how far she has come and lets you know that she for sure has someone helping her out! She looks so good now.
