I know that most of you probably don't need it but I put a link under Our Friends of a blog that gives you help and ideas on blog designs. I have not really checked it our yet (as you can see from my blog) but plan to do so. Hope it is helpful to someone : )
Don't let the smiles and clear eyes fool you....the waterworks came soon after this picture was taken. Bittersweet is the best word to describe this day! We are so happy and proud of David, I mean Elder Tribett. :)
He will be serving in the Florida Tampa Mission. He should leave the MTC on March 31st. I don't know how many of you know him but he is accepting letters from any one.....ha ha.
Too bad we were in too big of a hurry to look at the pictures after we took them. So we end up with squinty eyes. Oh well....I love my brother and am so happy for him. I think I only had 2 minor melt downs so I am doing good!
Maybe if I did this more often I would get the hang of it! Anyways, we went bowling a few nights before David left and here are a few sad looking pictures....
David was not cooperating and so this is the best I could do. What a brat. At least we got him to let us take some at the MTC. We had a fun time though.
How do I look? Creepy, I know. But after inhaling who knows how much dust and MDF particles, I decided I didn't care how looked. The downside? Everytime I exhaled my glasses fogged up!
It wasn't easy but I got him to let me take a picture!
This is one of the windows in the living room. Since I took it at night you get to enjoy the reflection of me and Moose in the window.
This is what is done so far on the entry way. It is hard to get a good angle but you get the idea. Eric is having fun with the finish work. I am excited to see the finished product since I am not good at understanding his vision when he is explaining it to me!
This is what our doors look like. Kind of different but I love them. They remind me of the doors in old homes.
Eric doesn't like me to take his picture so I have to do it when he isn't paying attention. It doesn't make for a great picture but oh well! He is working on the entry way.
These pics are kind of old but I have been informed that I need to update this so I am using the pictures I have! This the living room looking into the kitchen. Now it is all sheet rocked and textured and Eric has started the finish work. It is getting exciting!
I have a bunch of these fun built in shelf/nook things and I love them. The only problem is I have to buy stuff to fill them. That isn't really a problem though. I think I can handle it!
Kai loves to go to the house and wander. She smells everything since it is all new to her!
