This is after he had a MAJOR spit up! He was covered! And so was Eric and the couch! Poor kid. Luckily he hasn't done this in a while so hopefully we have things under control!

Deegan is growing so much! He is getting so close to laughing and I can't wait! He rolled over from his tummy to his back the other day. I didn't witness it but he was laying on his tummy I was sitting by him on the couch and leaned forward to do something on the ottoman and looked back and bam! He was on his back. Crazy kid! Guess I better keep a closer eye on him these days! He is so so so so sweet. He is such a strong boy and I have more pics to prove it coming. Don't wanna overwhelm you with TOO many Deegan pics all at once. Is there such a thing??

3 Months!

Our little man turned 3 months old on Feb. 13th! We had our friend Whitney come do his pics again since she did such a good job before. He was not very smiley but they still turned out amazing! He was smiling so much that morning and I told him he needed to save some smiles for his pictures, but he didn't listen. :)

Deegan's Birthday Surprise!

Yesterday was Deegan's 3 month birthday! And what better way to celebrate than with a new room! That's right, we FINALLY got his nursery all done. I still would like to find some more cute things to put on his shelves. I am going to get some of his 3 month pics (which I can't wait to see!) printed off and put on the shelves. But I am pretty happy with how it turned out!

My mom got us these cute letters and I painted them to match his room. I love them!

And best of all! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how these lanterns turned out!! I think they add so much to the room and are just so fun!

Deegan likes them too! He still doesn't sleep in here but that will come in time. One thing at a time. :) Stay tuned for his 3 month pics. The couple I saw were so dang cute! But how could they not be? :)

Deegan's Blessing Day

We finally were able to have Deegan blessed this last Sunday. We decided to just do it at home with our immediate family. Some may think we are being too cautious with him but we just felt better keeping it small and at home so that he didn't have the chance of being exposed to anything. Since he was early and had respiratory problems already, we didn't want to chance it. Hopefully you all understand and know that we would have loved to have a big get together with all of our friends and show him off, :) but we felt safer doing it this way. Anyways! On to the day!

We had our friend Jeri come and take pics of his big day. She did an AWESOME job and I am so happy with how she captured this day for us and for Deegan. There are a ton of pics, and yes, I did narrow it down. haha

These shoes are the same ones his Uncle Dylan wore when he was blessed. We had hoped he could wear the same outfit that both his uncles wore but it was extremely big! ha ha.

Eric did a great job with the blessing. I am so proud of him and so happy that he is worthy to do such a special thing. Deegan was lucky enough to have 2 of his Great Grandpas stand in during the blessing. He also had his Grandpas and an Uncle Steven. We wished Uncle David could have been there but Deegan will meet him soon enough. 5 weeks! :)
