Prepare for picture overload! You outta know by now that I do not do well at narrowing down the pictures. And this was a big day!! They are only sorta in order. There are way too many to put them in exact order.
Deegan was a lucky boy and had tons of family and a few friends over. We had shredded BBQ beef, grandma Sanders' delish cheesy potatoes, chili's chips and salsa, jello salad, relish tray and lots of other goodies for dinner!
Here we go!

The birthday boy on the morning of his big day! About this time a year ago is right when my water broke. At work.

His cute cake that grandma Tribett made for him.

His decked out high chair!

The adult cake that I made. Yes I know that it leans slightly and the decorating job is below average but oh well!

The inside was beautiful!! It took me all day to make but once I saw this, it was all worth it! ha
We did presents before cake but oh well.

Singing happy birthday....he looks okay with things.......

Yeah, not so much. See, he isn't always smiling!

Hmmm...what they heck is this stuff?

He was having a total come apart so we tried taking him out of the high chair.

Seemed to be working......

Nope! He was so not a fan of the cake demolishing. I was a little sad but that's okay.

So we stuck him in the sink and all was well again!
Back track to presents!

The unopened presents. And Aunt Randi. :)

Pretty excited about "My Pal Scout" that aunt coco and uncle kevy got him!

He got pretty good at ripping the paper off. It was pretty cute! He is concentrating pretty good here!

Opening his new activity walker from Grandma and Grandpa Sanders!

And his lion walker/rider from mom and dad!

He was so loved at his party!

Check out his loot! What a lucky boy. He deserved it all! The cute piggy bank is from Grandma and Grandpa Tribett and is painted with his name and monkeys on it. SO cute. I will have to get a pic of it on here.

Uncle David and his beard. ha ha Which reminds me, I need to post a hilarious beard story about Deegan.......

Great grandma Sanders

Auntie Coco

Grandma Sanders

Grandma Tribett

Birthday boy waiting for his guests to arrive!

The sink didn't do the job so we put him in the real tub. He played with his new bath toys from Aunt Chelsie and Uncle Steven and then dried off with his new doggie hooded towel from G&G Tribett. It is SO cute!! And lots bigger than the baby ones.

Too much partying!! This is is favorite position to sleep in. I love it. His nifty new friend Scout plays him lullabies. We have him programmed now that he can say Deegan's name. It really is a cool toy. We love Leap Frog.
So there you have it. Deegan's 1st birthday mega post! It was such a fun night and we were so happy everyone could make it! What a blessed, loved little guy. We are so lucky to have him!
Thanks for a wonderful first year my little goober!! We love you!
