Deegan's First Christmas!

Merry Christmas Deegan!! He had a busy first Christmas!

First stop is Christmas morning at the Tribett's. Don't we both look bright eyed and bushy tailed?

Grandpa Drew

Doesn't he look adorable in this hat?! I sure thought so! It only stayed on long enough for a couple pics though.

Yawn! Just a quick stop home and then onto the Sanders!

Cute cousin Kambree! She loves him so much and is so cute with him! I just loved Deegan's Christams outfit that Santa brought him. The gloves are from Court and Grandma Suzy made the hat. They just happened to match his outfit!

Great Grandma Sanders

Four Generations!! We have 3 other 4 generation pics that we need to get so hopefully it works out!

We had a great Christmas and so enjoyed our time with family! Deegan didn't need a dang thing for Christmas but we still managed to find some fun things for him! I am a bad mommy and didn't get any pics of his stocking or his presents. But santa did find him!

We hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season and we are sad to see it go! It is always so fun to get together with everyone and to celebrate Christ! Next year my decoration placement will have to be adjusted slightly to avoid little hands! I can't wait!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Christmas Eve

We had a very nice Christmas Eve. Me and Deegan got our first Christmas surprise that morning when I woke up in a panic because Eric was still home asleep and it was almost time for him to leave for work. He was sleeping on the couch with Deegan and when I woke him up he said, "Merry Christmas, I don't have to go to work." I was so happy!! He had know since Monday and was keeping it a secret until Christmas Eve.

Deegan's Christmas Eve outfit from Grandma Holly. I thought the shirt was so cute! Of course we celebrated him! :)

Those hands are always moving!

And that's enough pics for now apparently!

Mommy and Deegan. He didn't want to look at the camera.

Happy Birthday Grandma! Deegan got to help her celebrate her 50th birthday!!

Deegan in his Christmas Eve jammies. Thanks Aunt Coco.

What an exhausting night! I am sure he is dreaming of what Santa will bring him!

Wrapping Presents

Deegan was kind enough to help me finish all my wrapping yesterday.

But he soon realized what hard work wrapping is!

After a quick nap......

And a BIG stretch! He was ready to go again!

Snug as a bug in a rug!

This is what we do so that mom can take a shower.........

I wrap him up all snuggly like and put him in his bouncer chair. Then I put his chair right in front of the shower door so I can see him. :)

He doesn't seem to mind!

Tummy Time!

We know how important tummy time is so we make sure Deegan gets his workout for a while each day. He is so strong it amazes me!

This picture cracks me up! He is such a funny boy!

Tummy time is exhausting!

And he's out!

I didn't really get great pics but he is getting so strong. He holds his head really well and can raise it really high. He is pushing up with his arms but still has a ways to go there. I am sure it will happen sooner than I think! He will raise both his legs while on his tummy and really starts leaning to one side like he wants to roll over! He is already growing and changing so much! It is fun to watch him get stronger.

Here are a few pics from his newborn shoot that you may have not seen.....

Guess Who's 1 Month Old!

I know, you are baffled by this question so allow me to help you. Deegan!! Can you believe it?! I sure can't! This month has been a crazy one and has flown by.

I saw this on a couple other blogs so I am going to try to do it each month. I am sure the pics will get better as he becomes more stable!

He is just the sweetest little boy and I tell him that all the time!! We love him so much. I cannot snuggle him enough or kiss his cheeks and nose enough!! He is such a funny guy. He is constantly making noises! Sleeping, eating, hanging out, you name it. He is usually grunting, cooing, "purring", just always making noise. It is pretty funny. I will get it on video one of these days and put it on here.

He is eating about 80-85 ml (about 2 1/2 oz.) every 2-3 hours. Not sure when he will start to eat more or go longer in between feedings but let's hope it is before mom has to go back to work! :) I think I am going to read the book Baby Wise. Anyone read it or have it that I can borrow? Kelly, you are probably a little too far away from me to borrow yours. :)

Over all he is doing fantastically!! We are so happy and thrilled to have him in our home. I thank Heavenly Father for him everyday and cannot believe how lucky I am to be his mommy. I am so excited to watch him grow and change. We love you so so so much Deegan. Happy 1 month Birthday sweet boy!

Oh yeah, and Grandma Tribett baked him a cake to celebrate but we were very rude and ate it and did not share. Sorry bud! He is one VERY loved little guy!

Yesterday Eric had to go to SLC for a Union meeting. Since we don't see much of eachother these days I decided to go along for the ride. We had to leave by 7 am so that was pretty rough for me to be up and have Deegan ready to go to Grandma's that early! It was nice to spend the day together. After his meeting and lunch, we drove up to the Capital building and above. There are some pretty neat houses up there. The day was not really clear so it is kind of foggy but you get the idea.

There were tons of homes for sale up there. I was curious how much they would cost. We never found any prices on the homes but we did see a lot for sale. It was just over 1/2 an acre. Any guess on the price???

$399,000!!!!! Holy cow! And it didn't even have a fabulous view! Wow. Anyways, it was a nice day together but we were happy to get home to Deegan. Thanks for babysitting mom!
