The County Fair! Yahoo!

We spent a good chunk of the weekend and the fair and we loved it! My family was there selling Gyros and Phillys and this was my first year being "retired". ha ha. So I got to just enjoy the fair with my little family!

Hmmmm.....goofy dad. We were short on seats so he sat in the stroller and then felt the need to put the tray over him. ha ha. What a nerd.

Eric is already waiting for Deegan to be big enough to buy him on of these babies!
Who knows, maybe he will be the next Ricky Carmichael. He will probably be about his same height! :)

He didn't love the animals as much as I thought he would be he still liked looking at them.

I was slightly nervous that this goat was going to bite his little fingers off. ha ha. They had the cutest baby goats there! Deegan really like the chicken coop place. He would twist and turn and look around everytime one of them would, uh, what do you call it? Cock a doodle doo? ha ha

He loves being tossed in the air like this! He also really loves his dad!

I love my boys!!

We had a great time at the fair this year and are looking forward to taking Deegan back next year! Maybe we will take him to the rodeo. I love doing things with the 3 of us!

Cousins!

Last week my cute cousins from Idaho came to visit my grandparents. We went over to hang out for a bit and Deegan had a great time!

He loved them and they loved him! It was so fun to see them!

The next night they, along with some other cousins (and grownups too!:) babysat Deegan for a while for me and Eric. While he was there, Harrison was feeding Deegan so my aunt went to get her camera to take a pic, well when she pulled the camera out and Deegan saw it, he pushed the bottle out and looked at her and smiled. ha ha! What can I say? He has had a few pics taken in his life. He knows what to do! That's my boy! :)

The Carousel. Who knew?!

So we took Deegan to the fair and I was so excited for him to see the animals and then I decided it would be fun to take him on the carousel. I wasn't sure what he would think of it be we decided to do it.

We thought the zebra was cooler so we switched to this one. Too bad mom bonked his head on the bar when we were getting on. :( So he was a little fussy and I thought I had ruined the whole ride.

But then it started and oh my!

He loved it!!!

I know the pics are blurry but since we were constantly in motion it is kinda hard to get clear ones! He was seriously cracking up the whole time. He loved when we were up and would drop back down! It was the cutest, funniest thing ever!

When Eric saw how much he loved it, he wanted to take him so the lucky boy got to ride again!

And he loved it just as much the 2nd time around. Best $12 we have ever spent!

I wanted to take him again the next night and video it, but we never made it over to the rides.

Just some dang cute pics!

A couple weeks ago we went to a friends birthday party. It was a fun night and we were glad the rain cleared out!

Deegan was looking so cute and even a little grownup to me so I, of course, snapped some pics! His dad also needed to see this boys cute face so I thought I better update the blog!

Not sure why they all seem a little blurry but I think they are still cute! I think he looked extra grownup to me because I rarely but jeans and shoes on him. He really is getting so big, so fun and learning so much! I just love this kid! I have I mentioned that before?

Dear Deegan

Dear Deegan,

Yesterday at church you were such a crack up! Uncle David came with us and he played with you most of sacrament. You were so happy even though you were over due for a nap. You were making the cutest noises! Just talking in the cutest gibber jabber. You got pretty vocal and loud! We tried to give you your binky but you would just grab it and throw it right out. I guess you had things to say! You had the ladies on the row behind us laughing out loud. When you noticed the little girl a couple rows ahead of us, you got even more excited! You thought she was pretty neat and she gave you a whole new topic of conversation. You were not so reverent when you started spitting! But no one could help but smile and laugh at you.

After you had enough fun entertaining the back half of the congregation, you were tired and went right to sleep. When Sacrament was over, we took or usual post in the hall outside of Primary so mom could do her secretary duties. You always get so much attention from everyone that passes by. Several people commented on how hilarious you were, what a crack up you were, how cute you were, etc etc...during sacrament. I love that I get to spend those 2 hours with you, playing on the floor with you.

Deegan, you are such a sweet, sweet boy! You love everyone and your smile is so infectious! You make everyone that knows you so happy. You are so lucky to be in a family where all of your relatives love you to pieces. Everyone wants to hold you and love on you no matter how long it has been since they last saw you. You are one extremely loved little boy!! And as lucky as you are to have us, we are so much luckier and blessed to have you! You light up our lives and make everything better! It is so crazy to think that 9 months ago, you were not in our lives. What on earth did we ever do without you?! Picking you up each day after work is the highlight of my day!

You make your mom and dad so happy and so proud. We knew we would love you so much but I don't think we had any idea how smitten we would be with you and everything you do. You are getting to be so much fun and learning something new everyday it seems! I can't believe in 3 months, you will be one! I can't wait to plan your party for you and see you devour your cake! We love you more than words can express and I only hope that you feel the strong love we have for you! We thank Heavenly Father for blessing our lives with you, each and every day. Thank you, sweet boy, for all you do for me. We love you!!!!!

There really wasn't anywhere to put Deegan down and he doesn't like to be held and contained all the time so Kevin set him up a spot in the back of their car. Worked great!

Still loves his toes!

He thoroughly enjoyed himself! I think we all did. We enjoyed roasted hot dogs, pasta salad, cheesy potatoes, chips, and rice crispy treats. Yum!!

The dogs had a good time too! :)
