The boys' 1st plane ride!

October 19

We had planned to go home for the deer hunt and Halloween but Eric ended up not getting work off so it was up to me to get us home! I decided to be brave and fly. Yikes! We had a wonderful friend in Huntington Beach that allowed us to stay the night at their place and drive us to the airport in Long Beach. I was so nervous!!

We got there in perfect time just to find out that our plane was delayed 1.5 hours. Boo!!! I got through security and and after I was trying to get all our junk to the Terminal, a nice couple offered to help me carry my stuff. Once they got us seated in the waiting area they left. A short while later, they came back and had bought us breakfast! I was so thankful and greatful that I almost started crying. Such a good feeling knowing there are kind people who care.

All ready!

I packed all sorts of activities and we used most of them up while we were waiting for our flight.

And of course, just before it was time to board, Griffin zonked out! Oh well! We got to board first and had the help of some more kind people to fold of our stroller and get on the plane.

 Ready for take off!

The ipad kept Griffin entertained for a while and Deegan had his own headphones to watch the airplane tv. Towards the end they both got restless so we broke out the gel clings! Such a good idea I thought of. ha ha

It went pretty smoothly and we were excited to be back in Utah!
Uncle Dewey came to get us and surprised us by bringing my mom too. Sneaky Sneaky. And they brought balloons!

Not sure why he looks sad....

My mom was such a trooper and squished in the back. They were all exhausted!

Now for some fun in Utah!

I haven't blogged or even looked at anyone's blogs for a long time! I love all the fun adventures you guys have had! I just have to say, when I saw your mom squished in the back seat, it made me all claustrophobic! lol There is nothing I hate more than being squished in a vehicle. Or anywhere for that matter, but a car is the worst haha! What a trooper!
