I have some pics and stuff to do a post about our fabulous weekend but I don't have a lot of time right now......Eric got a call this afternoon letting him know that there had been an ice storm that hit South Dakota this morning and that his crew was one of the ones going to go help restore power. He will be leaving tonight or early tomorrow. Wow! He will be gone about a month. Could be a little less, could be more. So this will be interesting to say the least! It might be a little while before I do a post with pics because he is taking my camera (its pink! ha ha) and I will go buy another one. SO we will see when I can get to the store to get one. We had to make an emergency trip to Ogden to go get him some stuff at Sportsman's Warehouse. I think we about have him squared away!
Deegan and I will miss him terribly. But it is only a month, right?! ha ha. Oh and about the title, he was most likely going to be sent to Haiti in a couple weeks so I will take South Dakota over that! So wish us luck and if you can, pray for Eric's safety as they drive and work to restore the power lines in South Dakota!! You could also pray that I can keep my emotions some what under control. :) Thank you!

I have a couple extra cameras floating around you could borrow until you make it to the store... You never know when you might need one!
Your cute little family will for sure be in our thoughts. I hope he gets there ok and gets the job done quick! And remember, if you need anything just yell.
Good luck Eric. I hear those ice storms are insane! and you're right...atleast it's not Haiti!
Oh my!! I can't believe he is leaving to S.D. But yes, it's much better than Haiti. Seriously let us know if you need anything! You will all be in our prayers!!
The joys of natural disasters huh? I hope for Eric that South Dakota is better then North Dakota (we just spent seven months there, it sucked) and I will be thinking good happy thoughts that time will go fast for you, I so understand the craziness you go through trying to get them ready when you get word they are headed somewhere (because if it is like Jon's job you get little to no warning so it is a mad dash to get everything prepared) and then the rush of emotions that hits you once they are gone and it really hits you you are on your own for a month. I am sure you will do great and keep busy. Good Luck.
I'm sure you'll do great. It sucks when they leave, but hey your right S. Dakota is way better than Haiti. We need to get together sometime soon! So if you're ever down this way call me and I'll do the same if I come to Logan.
Aunt Nancy here...Sorry he needs to go and will for sure add all of you to prayers. Seems like a critical time for lots of folks I know. Stay safe and keep us posted. Love you.
I heard about all those storms on the news. Oucha! At least they keep your hubby employed right? We'll be thinking of ya and make sure you call if you need anything while Eric's gone.
