We finally were able to have Deegan blessed this last Sunday. We decided to just do it at home with our immediate family. Some may think we are being too cautious with him but we just felt better keeping it small and at home so that he didn't have the chance of being exposed to anything. Since he was early and had respiratory problems already, we didn't want to chance it. Hopefully you all understand and know that we would have loved to have a big get together with all of our friends and show him off, :) but we felt safer doing it this way. Anyways! On to the day!
We had our friend Jeri come and take pics of his big day. She did an AWESOME job and I am so happy with how she captured this day for us and for Deegan. There are a ton of pics, and yes, I did narrow it down. haha

These shoes are the same ones his Uncle Dylan wore when he was blessed. We had hoped he could wear the same outfit that both his uncles wore but it was extremely big! ha ha.
Eric did a great job with the blessing. I am so proud of him and so happy that he is worthy to do such a special thing. Deegan was lucky enough to have 2 of his Great Grandpas stand in during the blessing. He also had his Grandpas and an Uncle Steven. We wished Uncle David could have been there but Deegan will meet him soon enough. 5 weeks! :)

It was such a special day. We are so thankful for our families and all the love and support they give to us! We are glad everyone was able to be there to share this day with Deegan.

All the pics are so dang cute but my faves are the ones of his cute lil hands and feet. I completely understand, Lucky was born about the same time of year and I was really nervous about her being around alot of people.
What a special day for your little family! I don't blame you for staying in while you can. It gets harder the more kids and obligations you get. I need to come cuddle the little guy though. I haven't seen you since I brought you dinner and I had sniffling kids so I didn't want to hold Deegan. So adorable!
Aunt Nancy here...Well, you all did a fine job. So glad you were able to enclude your grandparents/ my mom and dad. Pictures are great! Love to all.
