Man, I don't know what my problem has been. I have not been taking many pics or blogging much. I need to get with it! Yesterday, Eric was home with Deegan and I left the camera out and told him to take some pics of him since I had been slacking. This is what I got....
Stinkin cute, yes! But it is the only one! ha ha. Oh well. One is better than none. What a happy kid! With a fuzzy head. ha ha
Here are some pics of our yard! It has been hydroseeded so now we just wait for a think, luscious lawn! It has already sprouted up quite a bit! It is so exciting to us.
And finally some pics of a sweet, sleeping boy! He is all snuggled up with mom's blankie. He is the only one I share it with. ha ha. He sleeps with his eyes half open quite often. Creepy! We still love him! Lots!!
Since I didn't do an 8 month post, here are some things about him at 8 1/2 (almost 9!) months!
*He recently had his first ear infection! Awful is the best way to describe it!
*He has got his first tooth! The middle bottom one. (This happened the same time as the ear infection. Fun times at our house!)
*He is getting very close to crawling!
*He loves to pull himself up and stand up just using your hands or body for balance.
*While I hold him on my hip, he will often use his hand and casually play with my hair. Love it!
*He is getting better at giving "kisses". They are open mouth ones but I love them!!
*He also loves to walk as you hold his hands. He cruises!
* We are finally noticing an improvement in his spitting up!
*He weighs about 17 pounds. (This was after he hardly ate for days during his teething/ear infection)
*He loves to watch the cars and trucks go by in front of our house and usually gets a huge grin on his face while doing so!
*He thinks it is pretty funny when he sneezes, or when mom yawns. For some reason he thinks its pretty funny when I brush my teeth as well.
*He gets pretty bored/frustrated if he is not constantly doing or being entertained. He wants SO bad to be mobile!
He is just a crack up and we are loving it! I cannot even believe he is almost 9 months old!! What a sweetheart he is and I love every second with him!

Well, even though Eric only took one picture, it's a really good one! He is so cute - and you forgot to mention that his smile is so contagious - every time I see it, I can't help but smile!

I have to ask is that a thermal baby blanket you sleep with? I know someone who still sleeps with a thermal baby blanket and her husband makes fun of her, so do her children.
Jill, ha ha, why yes it is! It is from when I was like a year old. Lame, I know but I just love it! I have set goals to get rid of it but no luck. It is prettty tattered and torn so who knows how long it will last. Tell your friend she is not alone! :)
Brooke that someone is me. When we were first married I had one from when I was little but it literally fell apart! I have a different one now that is starting to fall apart. Claire knows I love hers and she shares with me. I need to get a new but then it has the new feel and needs to be broken in. I really can't sleep without it...crazy I know! I am just very happy to find a fellow blanket owner! Wow...I confessed a lot!
ha ha. I am slow! Well good, that makes me happy to! I just love mine and take it on vacations and everything! I would be so sad if it ever got lost or anything! My fam is used to it for the most part. Eric still gives me a hard time every once in a while though!
sooo cute! Can't believe you still have your blankie! :) I totally remember that hting! Don't worry, I still have mine too, but it is in the closet, jared said it was him or the blanket when we got married! ha ha!
Yeah for grass! That really is exciting for you guys. Deagan's gonna love his yard next summer. As for your blanket, I'm pretty sure my Tyler's gonna have the same need for his blanket. It's probably better for an adult WOMAN than MAN to have a snuggly though so if he's 12 and still holding onto it I might have to step in.
