Deegan was 17 months old on the 13th!
His walking skills have improved greatly! One of my very favorite things is watching him toddle around!
New things he says: Mmmmm....Gu (good), Hi/Hello (he says it to everyone who passes him), Thank You, Na Na (no idea what this is supposed to mean but he says it for binki, bottle and drink/sippy cup), Je or Je J (Jesus), balloon (I can't quite explain this one....he makes a "B" sound and then the rest is made with his tongue sticking out and softly spitting. He gets an "L" sound in there somewhere too.) But he is so serious when he says it. ha ha.
He is improved on how he says bite and bye bye. They are much clearer.
Along with a dog, he now knows what a cow says.
Knows where his toes, hair and belly are. (He softly pulls on his hair when you ask him and lifts his shirt to show his belly:)
He gets VERY jealous if mom or grandma hold baby Tayson. But he is nice to him and likes to look at him and say "baby" and try to give him his binki.
He has started doing this weird, but cute, little clicking thing with his tongue when he wants something to eat. ha ha
LOVES his bed. He usually asks to go nigh nigh (night night) or if you ask him if he wants to he will answer with nigh nigh. When you put him in his crib he gets on his tummy and snuggles right up.
He is a great sleeper! He sleeps from about 8:30-7 every night and takes 2 naps during the day that are between 1.5-3 hours each.
We have cut his bottles down from 4 a day to just 2 a day (morning and night) and hope to have him off the bottle soon. He did great with the first cut back so hopefully he will do great the next time.
He loves to drink water/juice from his sippy cup! However, he will not drink milk from it. Weird. This might be a problem when he no longer gets milk in a bottle.....
If the closet doors are open, you can guarantee he will get in there and pull all the clothes in his reach off the hangers.
He still loves dog food. Yuck. He really doesn't ingest too much of it but if we leave the laundry room door open he goes right on in for a snack.
Another disgusting thing, we have caught him numerous times licking the bottoms of shoes! SO disgusting!!
He loves to close the garage door when we are going into the house and always says "a da" (all done) after he pushes it. He is so observant! It amazes me how much he learns just by watching us.
A new game he loves is to play microwave. He opens the door, takes a cup and puts it in, closes the door, pushes buttons then opens the door and says "a da" (all done). He learned this game all on his own.
He is a great eater still and eats most anything. He loves cheese, chicken nuggets, fruit of most any kind (Esp Bananas, grapes, and mandarin oranges.), PB&J, potatoes, and gold fish.
Loves to climb on things. If he is anything like his dad, this is no surprise!
Still in size 3 diapers, 12 month tops, basically 12 month bottoms, and size 3 or 4 shoes.
I know there is more but that is probably enough for now :) I cannot even believe he is basically 1 1/2 years old and almost going to nursery!! Love my little monkey!
He found this random binki laying around that came off his diaper cake. He has only ever used Mam's but took a liking to this one. And he prefers it upside down. haha. It took him a while to figure out how to keep it in his mouth. Little weirdo.

We got our hair done together (thats how we always do it). He wasn't happy to take his pic with mom. How sad.

He is getting so big! And i cant believe how good of a sleeper he is! I am very jealous! I am already counting down the days to when Ada can go to nursery.
What a little cutie! I love when they get to go to nursery, well when they love to go, not so fun when they don't. Cute hair cuts too!
Wow! I can't believe what a good sleeper he is. Lucky sleeps 11 hrs every night so I'm worried I won't be able to adjust when Venice is born. Deegan licking your shoes is disgusting but when Lucky was about that age I'd catch her licking dew off the back of the toilet.... gross. But it was just a phase.
I know I say this everytime, but he is so stinking cute!! He just seems like he is so full of personality!! The shoe licking is pretty dang funny, but gross too :)
Of coarse i am still checking back, i only check 5 times a day! ;) He is so Cute!!!
