19 Months

Another month has flown by and Deegan is 19 months old! Here are a few pics!

How do you eat your pizza?

He got this toy for Christmas and still loves it! The other day he figured out a fun little trick he can do with it.

Lately, Deegan LOVES shoes. And I don't mean licking the bottom like he used to do :) He loves to put on the grownups shoes and walk around. He does this daily! He also likes to haul shoes around the house and most of the time we can only find one shoe and not the match.

Love this face!

We had the first wiener roast of the summer and as usual it was delish! I was snuggling Tayson and Deegan came over and instead of being upset that I was holding another baby, he crawled right up on my lap! I knew it wouldn't last long so I hollered to have my sis snap a pic quick! Love these boys!!

New words/phrases he says: water, moose, zues, again, there ya go (de da go), bus, truck, cheese, papa, book....I think that's it. Now of course these aren't all super clear but he still says them :)

His babysitter discovered the trick to getting him to drink milk.....Gossner milk boxes!!! For those of you not familiar with them, Gossner's is a cheese factory in Cache Valley and the make some yummy milk in TONS of flavors. They are in the boxes like the juice boxes and the best thing is, they don't have to be refrigerated until they are opened.

The kid could live outside! He spends a lot of time outside at his sitters house and we usually try to spend some time in the evenings as well.

Now that it is getting warmer, he gets to play in water more and he loves that. He gets excited when the sprinklers come on and I am sure it is only a matter of time before he is running through them.

I finally found a couple pairs of sandals that will fit his fat little feet. ha ha. You wouldn't think it would be so hard but I seriously bought MANY pairs until I found some.

He is in size 3 diapers STILL! Size 4 shoe, mostly 12 month pants although they are still big, 12-18 month tops.

He loves to "help" sweep. He will go and get the broom out all by himself and go to town. We are going to go look for a small broom set for him tomorrow. Also, if I am sweeping he will bring me the dustpan.

He gives "knuckles"

He likes to dance.

He can blow a whistle.

He can howl like a dog.

Every night before bed, we sing a few songs, he lays his head on our chests and we rock and snuggle before laying him down. Total heaven. And he is still sleeping about 10-11 hours straight.

Still takes 2 naps a day and they are usually 2-3 hours each.

He is a TOTAL joy to have in our home. He is hilarious, entertaining, happy, sweet, independent but still needs his mommy :) We just love him to bits!!
