June 25
I found out about this zoo and it was super affordable to get in and just an hour away so Katelynn and I took the boys and headed out! It isn't huge but it was just perfect for us.
Deegan wanted to sit and eat his lunch (fruit snacks) while we waited to get in. He loves his Elmo lunchbox from Grandma Suzy.
Me and my boys and a couple of elephants!
2 Monkeys!
Flamingos! Notice he is holding his sippy in every picture? I just did. ha ha
"Feeding" the sting rays. I say "feeding" because Deegan just either dropped the nasty fish in or it was too small of a piece for the Sting Rays to notice. But he still had fun.
There was a petting zoo there and I think that was Deegan's favorite part. He was in heaven with all the goats and sheep!
He thought he was so neat touching all of them.
Then he wanted to "clean" them. He loved it!
They just opened up Sea Lion Cove and they do little shows. It was pretty fun!
Then we went down to view them underwater. It was a fun exhibit.
Deegan and Katelynn being silly in the gift shop.
My cute giraffe! He got to pick out a prize for being good and not asking for anything until the end. We found him a cool pair of tiger striped "annoc-a-lurs" (binoculars). It was perfect because he had been wanting some anyways.
It was a lovely day. A little warm but not too bad. We also so Kangaroos and one had a little Joey in her pouch. There were tigers and monkeys and giraffes and several others as well.
