So I finally got my house semi squared away. Good enough to take some pics anyways. There is still lots to do but we are making progress. The pictures were strategically taken to hide certain things like the fact there are no blinds and we have a Raiders blanket over one window and the pile of random decorations that still need to find a home! We hope to have a BBQ soon so we will keep you posted!

After! We just got the furniture yesterday and as you can see, Eric wasted no time putting it to good use!
Here is another after, just ignore that nice and ugly cord hanging down from the TV! We had all the other wires run through the wall but for some reason they couldn't do the HDMI (for HDTV) cable at the same time. So now we are on a mission to find a 30 ft. HDMI cable to run through the wall. I will leave that one to Eric.
This is Kai's buddy. Eric gave this to me for Valentine's Day while we were dating. I had it in my cedar chest and the first night we were in the house, I went in to get a quilt out of my chest and then left the room and shut the door. Well a short while later, I hear Kai whining (which is not abnormal:) so I walked back to see what she wanted. She was whining at the spare bedroom door so I opened it and she ran right over and put her front paws on my cedar chest. I opened it and pulled "valentine" out and put it in the hall and this is where she stayed the rest of the night. I think she was a little confused and stressed with all the moving and just needed a friend! :)
This is a sunset off of our deck. My brother always comments on how beautiful the Florida sunsets are but I think ours are just as beautiful. Okay, so maybe I have never seen a Florida sunset.......

Your house is awesome!*jealous* :) I love your couch! You musta been workin' that boy hard! I thought it was funny to see the 2 liter Mt. Dew by Eric to help innagurate the furnishings. He musta been chuggin' from the bottle because there's no cups around!
Yes, I did figure out how to change the background without erasing the rest! I'll email you the steps so it doesn't take up so much room here. You basically have to copy and paste into the HTML stuff instead of replacing the whole thing. I'll get you the info!
Yeah, we are very classy! I thought about moving it before taking the pic but decided not too since it went well with Eric and his kicked up feet! That is how we do it :)

I LOOOOOVE the new house. It looks amazing! You will have to let me come visit when I move back home. I love the sunset picture that is gorgeous and makes me homesick so quit posting pretty pictures of home. (It was fine when you were posting pictures of snow and cold) I also love the picture of Kai that is so cute.

Your house is beautiful!! I love that you did a before and after picture of the rooms...isn't it funny how having furniture and having things cleaned up can make a difference?!! Anyway - congrats on being done and moved in.
Ha ha I love how you can barely tell Eric is on the couch. He blends right in. Looks like the couch is bigger than him. It looks great, can't wait to come up and see it. I'm sure your so glad to be in.
