On Sunday the family got together at Eric's parents house as a little farewell for him. He leaves Saturday morning! :( After we were finished eating, Eric wanted to take Kambree outside. She was more than willing to out and swing on the swing set. As they were getting her shoes and coat on, I got out my camera to go out with them and take some pics. Kam saw me with my camera in hand and said "Picture me?" I told her yes, I was coming outside too, to take pictures of her. Apparently she was ready NOW because when I finished my sentence, this is what she did.....
What a girl! We sure love her.
She kept saying "Swing high!" So Eric obliged.
If you can click on this and make it bigger, I reccomend doing it. Her face is hilarious!It was a pretty cold day so I didn't stay out too long. When these 2 finally came in they were both freezing. Eric kept asking her if she was done or if she was ready to come in and she would answer very simply "No." I am not sure how he finally talked her into coming in.
So as I said earlier, Eric will be heading to Boise Saturday morning. I think it is good he is leaving on a Saturday so then I have the weekend to get somewhat used to it and get my emotions under control. ha ha Hopefully! I am a baby. I cry pretty easily. I know he is not gone for THAT long and I will talk to him everyday, several times, but it is just not the same. In the over 7 years we have known eachother, the longest we have ever been apart is 1 week. I think this "first" time will be the hardest because he will not be home for 3 weeks!! Hopefully after that he can come home every other weekend. I know others have had hubbies gone longer so I will be grateful and try not to whine too much but this is the first time I have ever done anything like this. I know it will be just fine and in the end it will be SO worth it! Wish me luck! I have lots of great friends and family that are already to help me if I need anything. And Jen, you call me anytime! Seriously! :)

Hang in there Brooke!!! Kevin left on Sunday and it's never fun to say goodbye!! Call me when Eric leaves and we can get together and shed some tears!! :)
What a great guy he is to take herout and swing with her! Good luck Brooke while he's gone! If we were closer, we'd definitely do things. We'll try and come up so you're not always alone :)

k, I just read your last post and I am laughing really hard! I tried to tell the story to Brandon, and he just looked at me like I was a little weird. :-) I think that it would be hard for anyone to have their hubby leave! Good luck!
Brooke, don't feel bad about being sad that Eric's gone. Even though other people's husbands have been gone longer, it's okay to miss your husband even if they're only gone for 3 weeks! 3 Weeks sounds like a lot to me! Good luck!
I know its hard when your husband leaves. Nelli left for New York almost two weeks ago. It sucks but it'll be worth it. Plus, he has been gone the last two summers but it made me love him that much more cuz I realized how much I need him. I cried alot too. It sucks being home alone... I wish I could come keep you company but feel free to call me anytime!
Man, the last couple of weeks have flown by. I can't belive he is leaving already, hopefully the next 3 will go by just as fast. You know Jade and I will come hang out with you whenever you want. And there is always water aerobics twice a week. we'll have to have lots of girl craft nights. i'm up for anything!
Yes we gotta love Kambree, what a doll! It looks like you guys had a great time. Where was Kaden? I know it will be hard for you to have him gone. I'm so sorry we are gone too, so I won't be much help. But you can call or text anytime!! xoxo
