Birthday Weekend!

For my birthday this year me and Eric had a mini getaway. It was so nice and much needed time together. We stayed in a hotel that we haven't stayed in before and it will now be "our" hotel whenever we go to SLC. I loved it

It had an actual living room, dining table....

fully stocked kitchen with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove, toaster, dishes, you name it.

And the best part is, it was super affordable! And free breakfast. ha ha. It really was very nice.

We went down on Friday afternoon and we first went to South Town Mall. We got a quick bite at Hot Dog on a Stick ( I LOVE thier cheese on a sticks:) Then Eric proceeded to spoil me rotten by buying me 2 pairs of Miss Me jeans and 1 pair of Big Stars. I am in love. ha ha. I have never had expensive jeans before and there really is a difference!

After a little shopping (Eric got some stuff too) we headed to Cheesecake Factory. So yummy as always! Then we went and checked into our room and hung out for a bit before walking down to the Gateway to see a movie. Eric wanted to see Fast Five but it was basically sold out so we saw Water for Elephants instead. It was really good. Eric even liked it! Then it was off to bed and to Supercross in the morning!

It was super cold. I put my beanie on right after this and we snuggled in a blanket too. It was a very pretty night though.

Kevin Windham. He is one of my favs.

Chad Reed. I also really like Chad. I don't consider myself too knowledgable in the area but I do have a couple of guys I root for. James Stewart is NOT one of them. He had an awful night and I was thrilled. ha ha

Kevin Windham again.

It was such a fun weekend! It was nice to spend some time just the 2 of us. I missed Deegan, of course, and this was the longest I have been away from him so far. But he was in great hands and got to split the weekend between his 2 grandmas. Thanks for watching him for us!
