So as an early anniversary gift, we finally bought ourselves Rock Band 2. What a great choice. We had previously bought Guitar Hero (Just the guitar and the game) but the guitar seemed crappy (the buttons were sticking) and I didn't really like it compared to Rock Band. So we took it back and paid the difference for Rock Band 2. We have had so much fun playing it together. It really is a great family investment :)
The only problem is we have been playing every night! Late! Maybe not late for some of you but I prefer to be in bed by 10:30 and lately that has not been happening. I know it is my own fault. I could easily put down the drum sticks and go to bed. Trust me, it is easier said then done. When you learn that you can win a tour bus or a plane, you HAVE to continue! We were even able to play online with some of our friends that also have it. Technology is a crazy thing if you ask me!
I know this little addiction is maybe slightly lame, but I don't care. :) We have been spending some quality time together and having lots of fun. Who cares if I have to drag myself out of bed even more so then normal, and that my contacts hurt my eyes because they are lacking sleep, or that by the time I get to work I need a Diet Coke to get me going? My goal is to be able to rock the drums like our friend Melissa. (I have a LONG way to go!:) Anyways, anyone considering purchasing this, I would highly recommend it. This is just my personal opinion, but I think Rock Band is better than Guitar Hero World Tour. Hope I didn't offend anyone. ha ha

I totally agree! We love Rock Band! We are going to get Rock Band 2 soon which will be fun to have new songs! I know what you mean about trying to turn it off. We just keep saying, "one more song" and before you know it it is midnight! I did drums the other night and held my own but was at like 50% the whole time. It is hard! ROCK ON!
My friend here in Houston got that for Christmas, and boy is it addicting lol.

I agree with you about Natalie, you know that after they took the diamonds away Jason felt so bad so he gave her a REAL diamond necklace for her to keep (it obviously wasn't a million dollars, but still) she left it in the limo...I read that on the host's blog. She just seems very materialistic and into herself.
And I want to feel bad for Shannon, but she is just to crazy. I mean seriously, maybe they are giving her a bad edit, there has to be some reason he is keeping her around...something we are not seeing, but I agree her, Meghan, and Molly should be the next one's to go IMO....but if Molly spends the night with him you know she won't be leaving anytime soon.
I really dislike Molly, if you look at the preview of next week, she is wearing Jason's clothes before they even get in the tent, but you know she will make a big deal about wearing his clothes to the other girls....even if it was a legit reason she was wearing them. I don't like her.
I think the kiss with Nikki was my favorite part of the episode lol.
I still really like Stephanie and Melissa, that is still who I am rooting for lol.
I don't know, I have always wondered how involved the producers are in the show, like if they coach him or what exactly they do, I mean what happens if he has an INSTANT connection with someone the first night, then what? I am sure they do a lot, even if it is just how they edit things so viewers get one idea when really it will be something else.
Like right now I would say he has the biggest connection with Molly and Jillian, but both of them seem like they are in it for the game, for the ability to say that they won, they beat out all the other girls, I don't know if they are really being honest about being a stepmom and wife, I mean maybe they are, but to me it seems more about the competition.
And I don't think he would keep Shannon around for drama, because even when we see she is stalkerish it doesn't seem to bother him, I think Meghan and Lauren might be being kept around for the drama factor, I mean he has NO alone time with either of them, but they are still both there. Shannon seems to get along with all the girls and she is the one they always show in the funny things at the end of the show goofing off and making the other girls laugh.
It would be interesting to be a fly on the wall in the girls house and see how things really go down.
(that is why I love Big Brother so much, my other guilty pleasure show, because they have feeds on 24/7 and so you can always watch inside the house, and see what really happens, what people are really like, not just what the producers want you to see)
That is so fun that you got Rock Band 2. I know how you feel about staying up late, dragging your butt out of bed, and needing a Diet Coke first thing at work. I am the same way! We'll have to play battle of the bands or something! Drums rock!!!
