28 Weeks 3 Days

I have not done a belly pic in a while because I kept waiting until I looked cute and ready. ha ha. Since that never really happened I just decided to take one before a month had past. So here I am at 28 weeks 3 days.......basically ready for bed. Yeah, not the best time for a pic.

Fake smile and all! ha ha. It really is not fake but it looks like it. (I just hate pics of myself!) And my shirt is really not that tight. I pulled it like that to get a better pic but I think that may have been a mistake. Oh well.

I had an appointment today and it was a doozy! I did my glucose test, which was not as bad as I thought but that little orange drinks is not the greatest. The first half was easy to down but then my stomach knew what it was and didn't like it. I never gaged so thats good! I got my blood drawn for that, got the Rhogam shot in the rear for being Rh- and asked my H1N1 vaccine questions. (My doc was in a delivery so I was just talking to her nurse. Not sure if my Dr. would tell me otherwise, but I liked what I learned from the nurse!:)

Blood pressure and weight are still looking good. Although, I have gained 25 pounds and that freaks me out a little. To stick to my goal, I can only gain 10 pounds in 11 1/2 weeks. ha! Probably won't happen but it's possible. Next time around I will do a lot more (water aerobics especially!) exercising. I have only been walking.

Deegan is growing like a champ and everything is looking good. He is still a crazy little mover. I love that I can see my belly move sometimes. Those kicks and stretches are the best! I swear the other day he was doing the splits in a hand stand! It was the craziest feeling. It is so much fun though. He is pretty active throughout the day but especially from about 9:30-11:30 pm. I usually don't even try to go to bed till 11 or later.

Only 11 1/2 weeks left! I cannot wait to meet him! We still have a lot to get and a lot to do to get ready though. His nursrey bedding will be here tomorrow. I got one of the valances already and one of the colors I thought was white is really more cream. Errr! Oh well, I may just have to get over my "white and cream clash" problem. It was way too hard to find a set I liked and that I could afford! I will post pics soon. Hopefully we can get the crib and stuff set up on Saturday!!

That is awesome! All is well - that is always good to hear! I am RH- too so I had the shot every time. I loved feeling them move! It freaked Jeremy out a little so he wasn't as big a fan.
So what did the nurse say about the H1N1 vaccine? I am in huge debate of what to do for me and my kids!!!

you definitely don't look like you've gained 25 lbs so that's good! i swear i looked like a balloon, yuck. glad the drink is over and the rhogam shot. sorry you had to have that in the first place. did the nurse say yes to H1N1 vaccine? our pediatrician says to get it for Rian since she's still a baby and her immune system isn't as strong as an adults.

My personal favorite is when people across the room can see your belly move. It just gets more and more fun :) and then suddenly he will be here - that's the good news.

Thanks for the info. I have been hesitant to get it for my kids even though my pediatrician recommends it! Since it is so new I just don't know! There is a school in Portland that has had an outbreak of 30 confirmed cases. It is just scary! The kids are down for a week and then get better. I think I might wait and see what happens after it has been out for a while. In the meantime we will just wash hands a lot!

He's gonna be a soccer player, he is. It's so exciting to have them moving around all the time. Lucky used to move alot at night too. You still look so tiny, I can't believe your in your third trimester!

You look so cute! Send me pics of his room! sooo fun! I am so excited for you guys! It is coming up so fast. Don't know what the nurse told you about H1N1, but it has been bad here. Most people who get it, end up in the ICU.....scary stuff! I am still debating myself about that one???? You look great! And remember, gaining weight is a GOOD thing! :)

Your belly is just getting cuter and cuter! Seeing Carlee move in my belly was one of my favorite things too. By the way, don't worry about the white and cream thing. I bought a white rocking chair, we put up white bead board and then bought a crib that specifically said white, and turns out it was actually cream so it's the only thing in the room that isn't white, but it still looks cute... : )
