July 5
We decided we wanted to go to Golden Gate Park. What we didn't know is how GIGANTIC it was that by typing it into our GPS it would take us to part of the park. We were expecting some kind of entrance or welcome sign and didn't find it. After much frustration and running a red light and almost getting hit, we drove to the beach!
I am a little sad that we didn't write any names in the sand, but that's okay.
This is a windmill that is in Golden Gate Park.
Cool graffiti.
Then we drove through just a little part of the park and found this cool manmade lake where we rented some paddle boats and cruised around!
Deegan was having fun with these nasty pigeons.
On the paddle boat.
Waterfall
It was a pretty little lake. I did a lot of the paddling while Eric wrangled Griffin. (My choice)
Then we headed to the Golden Gate Bridge!
I looked over and Deegan was just standing next to this statue. ha ha. I thought it was pretty cute.
My cute family by the bridge! So pretty!
I love this picture so much!
Daddy and the boys.
Mommy and the boys.
Happy Griffin!
This is how big the cables that run along the bridge are.
Then we grabbed a bite to eat at a mediocre restaurant :) in Union Squre and headed to Ghiradelli Square and Fisherman's Wharf.
Ghiradelli Square isn't anything to neat in my opinion. But it was a great place to park and walk to Fisherman's Wharf.
Fisherman's Wharf was a fun place! Lots of shops and places to eat seafood if you like that kind of thing, which I don't. ha ha.
San Francisco really is a cool place. We got to see quite a bit of it in our 2 days there. I could have lived without seeing the 2 naked guys walking along the street but oh well!
Next up, our drive along the Pacific Coast Hwy and visiting the Hearst Castle!
