Halloween Festivties & 33 weeks!!

This year we were a little more boring for halloween. That is mostly because I just really was not feeling up for much in the way of festivities. On Friday Eric and I went to my moms to carve pumpkins and eat dinner. Eric was not really feeling in the carving spirit but did so anyways just for me. Thanks babe!

Here are our pumpkins all lit and ready for trick or treaters.

Erics-He has done some pretty extravagant ones in the past but I am happy he even did one this year so we won't complain.

This is mine. I wanted a green pumpkin so I could do this. Please tell me you can tell what it is?!
Frankenstein of course!

Saturday night we just mostly hung out at the house. This is the first year since we have been married that we actually hung around for trick or treaters and it was nice. I went over to my mom's for a while for the traditional nachos and apple cider and DELICIOUS sugar cookies. I left Eric to man the candy bowl and he called after I had only been gone less than 30 minutes. He needed more candy! I told him to look in the cupboards for some fruit roll ups and stuff, he found some left over "It's a Boy" suckers from the shower and peeled the stickers off of them. ha ha Luckily my parents hadn't had too many kids come and so my dad ran some of their candy over. Guess we know to buy more candy for next year!! I think I will just not even answer the door after 8:30 or 9 because it seemed like they were all "big" kids that were annoying and probably shouldn't have been trick or treating anyways. Just call me scrooge! :)

Then later Steven and Chelsie came over to watch the new Ice Age movie. It was pretty cute. It was a nice weekend with family. Nothing too exciting but that is how I like it these days! Oh yea, and Halloween marked 33 weeks. I cannot even believe that in about 7 weeks we will be parents! My Relief Society President came up to me today and said "So you are due next month right?" I told her no, I was due in December. Then I realized that IS next month. Crazy!

Hopefully you all had a happy, safe and fun Halloween!!
